Personal information

I am a psychologist with a background in social and organizational psychology, management and organization development. At present I am Professor of Relational Processes in the Utrecht School of Governance which is a part of the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. For our undergraduate program in Policy and Organization Studies I teach Qualitative Inquiry. For our various masters programs I contribute around the topics of Postmodernism, inquiry and transformation; Relational constructionism, community and organizational development and the Philosophy of inquiry; I also take master classes in applications of relational constructionism. I contribute to other Masters, Doctoral (Phd) and management programs - particularly in The Netherlands, UK, and Scandinavia. In 2010 I was awarded a Doctor of Economics (honoris causa) by the Turku School of Economics in Finland.
I am also a board member and associate of the Taos Institute in the USA. The Taos Institute, my colleague Prof. John Rijsman at the University of Tilburg, and myself run a Tilburg/Taos Phd program for practitioners from all fields who wish to make a reflective practitioner Phd.
