Personal information

I am a chartered psychologist with a background in social and organisational psychology, management and organisation development. At present I am Professor of Relational Processes at USBO - the Utrechtse School voor Bestuurs- en Organisatiewetenschap (Utrecht School of Governance) - part of the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. I contribute to the undergraduate programme of USBO and to our research programmes in The Management of Meaning and The Management of responsibilities. In addition, I contribute to various Masters and Phd programmes - in The Netherlands (USBO, Sioo), The UK (Kensington Consulting Centre), and Scandinavia.

I also participate in the activities of the Odyssey Group - a nomadic network that helps to amplify voices through the construction of websites, along with exploring and publishing work on new information and communication technologies. I am a board member and associate of the Taos Institute in the USA. The Taos Institute, my colleague Prof. John Rijsman at the University of Tilburg, and myself run a Tilburg/Taos Phd program for practitioners from all fields who wish to make a reflective practitioner Phd.
