Workshop "Social Construction, Relational Theory and Transformational Practice"

Our June 2008 workshop focussed on social constructionism, relational theory and transformational change work.  Twelve participants from six different countries (Europe, Africa and North America) came together to discuss their own practice issues and possible connections with relational constructionism.  Many, but not all, were doing Phd's;  interests included organisational consulting, aid work, community development, counseling and couple therapy, young people and debt, and postmodern approaches to evaluation. The energy created over the three days was just tremendous and everyone felt that the workshop had helped them enormously with their theoretical and practice issues. In sum, it was a huge success.
